Had a situation today where my opponent called a ball out that I thought was in. They got pretty defensive when I asked about it. What's the proper etiquette here? Should I just accept their call?

In recreational play, the general rule is to give your opponent the benefit of the doubt. If you didn't see it clearly, their call stands.

I always try to remember it's just a game. Unless it's a tournament, keeping the peace is more important than any single point.

If you genuinely believe it was in, you can offer to replay the point. Most people appreciate that middle ground.
