I've been working on my third shot drop but I feel like I'm too predictable. When do you all decide to drive instead of drop? Looking for some decision-making tips.

I've started mixing in drives to keep opponents honest. If you always drop, they'll start cheating forward to attack your drops.

Pay attention to your opponents' weaknesses. Some players struggle more with drives at their feet than with drops they can attack.

I look at where my opponents are positioned. If they're back or slow getting to the kitchen, I drive. If they're already at the line with good ready position, I drop.

Wind is a big factor too. On windy days I drive more because drops are harder to control.

The best advice I got: if your drop isn't going to be quality, drive instead. A bad drop is way worse than a drive.
